1 cup flour<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1\/4 cup wheat germ<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1\/4 cup brewer’s yeast (I used nutritional yeast)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1\/4 cup finely grated carrot (about one really big carrot for a double recipe)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2 tsp minced parsley
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1 clove garlic, minced
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1\/2 cup chicken stock
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

scant 1\/4 cup canola oil
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3 Tbsp chicken stock
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Preheat oven to 400\u00baF. \u00a0Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mix flour, wheat germ, brewer’s yeast, carrot, parsley, and garlic. \u00a0To this mixture, alternately add chicken stock and oil, in three parts. \u00a0Mix until a sticky dough forms. \u00a0Turn in out on a floured board.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Knead adding flour as needed, about 2 minutes. \u00a0Roll dough out about 3\/8″ thick. \u00a0Cut into shapes. \u00a0Place on cookie sheets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bake 8-10 minutes , then turn cookie sheet and baste with chicken stock. \u00a0Bake 8-10 minutes longer. \u00a0Turn off heat. Leave pan in closed oven for 90 minutes. \u00a0Happy dog.<\/p>\n
